Minor gripe: On the 1st of November, I'm going to this con. (I don't think I ever shut up about it. ^^ Because we're only going for the one day, I'm catching a lift down with my friend and staying at her place the night before.
On the day before, I have a engineering workshop in the centre of town. So I'm going to have to fit my cosplay, pjs, clothes for the day after and other assorted stuff into my backpack, and take it all the where there and back.
...And I don't know how to get to the place the workshop is. -_-

And the buttons on my shirt sleeves are really annoying because they catch on my desk as I type.

Okay, my turn to gripe.

Soooo much to do and so little time. Arggg. I have three exams in the next week and a half plus the exam I had two days ago, and registration for next semester is coming up so I have to go to mandatory advising (which I can't seem to find a compatible time for) work is picking up and giving me more hours (great, just what I needed ) my sister is getting married and we're making the invitations (that's right, making them) which means printing on the computer which means I can't get on the internet in the evenings when she's on there 'cause wedding stuff takes precedence over internet (not in my opinion, but I was overruled, meh) and I still have to write stuff for the Yukiverse game (so sorry, Risu-chan, I'll do it today, I promise) and ....

:: Breathe. Stop whining long enough to actually take a breath ::

Okay. Three school projects due in the next two weeks as well and (least important but still a gripe) I haven't had any time to READ any of the manga I've downloaded. IRC is wonderful for getting all kinds of stuff, but then you actually have to have time to sit down and read it.

I think I'm done now.

(who was almost turning blue from that long run-on sentence ...)

Don't stress over the game or anything! It's there to be a game, ie fun, not something people stress over... ^__^;; I was just getting worried people didn't like it anymore... but thank you again for your post!

About the rest of it, yowza. Good luck surviving! And good luck getting computer time too...

surgery? ugh! Can't they like put a needle in and let it out or something non-scalpel-ish?

Just make sure your doctor's last name isn't Allen or Disraeli or any of our favorite frothing mad scientist's aliases...

yah i was thinking they could just drain it out too, when he said it was liquid. but apparently he thinks that the liquid isn't JUST liquid. Its also damage tissue, or something along those lines...i dont really pay attention. once i hear the bad news, i zone out and let my parents take care of the details.

hehe...yah that'd be kinda scary if his name was allen or disraeli. hehe...i might end up without a foot!!...but by the way my doc keeps finding things wrong, who knows if that doesnt actually happen!!!

Speaking of mad doctor, beware of a certain japanese surgeon by the name of Muraki Kazutaka. ^-^

My gripe:

Why do these things take so long? Why do I have to have a job? Why won't someone just give me a house and food so I can just sit down and translate everything I want to translate? Heck, why couldn't I get a translating job that would pay a living wage? No wait, I know the answer to that one; that's because Tokyopop and the like are used to "hiring" college-student interns who work for next to nothing in order to have their name in print, never mind...

...I read God Child book 2 tonight just 'cause I could... the thing is, I can't *translate* as fast as I can *read*... but I want to get it translated 'cause there is some fun stuff in there, particularly the last story, much Cain and Riff slashy drooly angstiness... ^___^

But I have this little thing called a job that's had me working overtime for the past three weeks... and I do want to keep writing stuff on the RP board rather than vanishing entirely into a translator hole... T_T so much to do, why don't days have 36 hours in them instead?
